Pay Range: $25.00 – $34.00 per hour (DOE) + Overtime
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused CDL Class A or Class B Dump Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will transport construction materials (dirt, gravel, asphalt, stone, and aggregate) to and from local job sites. You’ll be responsible for operating heavy-duty dump trucks safely, performing daily pre/post-trip inspections, and maintaining clean driving records while keeping projects on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate tri-axle, tandem, or tractor-trailer dump trucks in accordance with local, state, and federal DOT regulations.
Haul and dump aggregate, dirt, sand, asphalt, and concrete to designated work zones.
Perform thorough daily Pre-Trip and Post-Trip vehicle inspections; document and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Properly cover/tarp loads and secure tailgate latches before entering public roads.
Coordinate with job site supervisors, dispatchers, and equipment operators to ensure efficient loading/unloading.
Complete and submit daily haul sheets, logs, and delivery tickets accurately.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness inside and out.
Qualifications & Requirements
License: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or Class B).
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating a CDL dump truck.
Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
Medical: Valid DOT Medical Card.
Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Skills: Ability to operate manual transmissions (preferred), maneuver trucks in tight work zones, and follow safety protocols on active construction sites.
