Seeking a dependable Handyman to maintain commercial and residential properties in the Brunswick/Topsham area. This flexible position starts part-time with potential to become full-time, offering negotiable pay based on skills and experience. This role offors the opportunity to perform a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks across different buildings and interior spaces. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on commercial and residential rental properties.
Troubleshoot and execute a wide range of repairs across basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and flooring systems.
- Manage and resolve tenant work orders promptly, providing high-quality service and clear communication to minimize disruption to occupants.
- Execute complete turn-key turnover procedures for vacant residential and commercial units to prepare them efficiently for new tenancy.
- Perform comprehensive mini-split HVAC tune-ups and preventative maintenance, including deep-cleaning heads, filters, coils, blowers, and drain lines.
- Install, evaluate, and repair a variety of household and commercial appliances using appropriate diagnostic techniques and specialized hand tools.
- Oversee exterior property maintenance and execute seasonal projects to enhance curb appeal and mitigate long-term structural wear.
Experience
- Skilled in general property maintenance, handyman repairs, and multi-trade troubleshooting.
Preferred experience in mini-split cleaning, coil/filter maintenance, and routine tune-ups.
- Honest, reliable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Respectful, and professional when working around active tenants.
- Must own a complete set of standard hand and power tools.
- Reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license required.
- Active Certificate of Insurance (COI) required.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver up to 60 lbs.
- Strong communication skills in English to collaborate with team members and residents clearly and professionally.
