This kit is configured with four additional vinyl windows for six total, a second half-light door at the 12:00 position plus the standard 6:00 door (two egress points), locking lever handles and deadbolt hardware on both. It includes full roof and wall insulation liners, the snow and wind kit with perimeter blocking, a dome opener, tinted dome, bug screen, and fan support. The side cover is forest green polyester with the putty colored marine vinyl top cover and matching valance.
This yurt is ready for new England winters!! Just needs a platform, a raising, and a heat source 💫
This kit with all the upgrades today would cost about $34k to get it shipped to the east coast, and the Pacific rep said they're about to raise prices again. This kit is already here in southern Maine and we'll let it go for $29k.
I've raised just about every type of yurt you can over the past few years, most every make and model, and I can vouch for the simple artful effective quality + utility of Pacific's product, plus their team is a dream to work with, and always prove very supportive every step of the way.
You can hire me to deliver it to you anywhere within the Northeast US, or you'll need a flatbed or a trailer to transport this thing, plus 1-2 extra sets of hands to help load (I'll help, too). In addition, I'll offer a free hour of consultation to the buyer if you would like support in your process; and if you're so inclined, we could discuss partnering to have your platform build or yurt raising be conducted as a community empowerment workshop; you get support with your project, and your community gets the empowerment to learn how to build self reliant shelter.
