Hello again! Joe here - your friendly, experienced, Microsoft Certified, volunteer computer tech. When I freshly install Microsoft Windows on any PC, I purposely set it up to be secure, responsive, private, and user-friendly.
This time I have a Dell XPS 8930 with an Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti, 6 gigabyte (GB) video card.
The sytem has an Intel, 8th generation, i7-8700, 6-core processor (CPU), a speedy, 512GB solid state drive (Kioxia, NVMe SSD), 16GB of memory, and a 460-watt power supply. Windows 11 Home is installed with a few choice utilities. It also has a DVD burner which can play DVD movies, and I've added two fans to assist with cooling.
The installed video card will play most modern games at medium graphical settings. Also, if you need Microsoft Office, ask me about it.
The unit requires a monitor or TV with an HDMI, DisplayPort (DP), or DVI connection, a mouse, keyboard, and most importantly, a SURGE PROTECTOR (not just a power strip). It connects to the Internet through a network cable or basic Wi-Fi. I will include the power cord and an extra SATA cable. As always, I am happy to field any questions!
