Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated individual for full-time farm and property maintenance. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, loves animals, and takes pride in keeping a beautiful rural property running smoothly.
You will be responsible for a mix of daily animal care and hands-on property upkeep. If you have experience with farm work, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Animal Care: Daily feeding, watering, and monitoring the health and well-being of the animals. Assisting with basic care and grooming as needed.
Lawn & Landscaping Maintenance: Operating equipment to mow fields, weed eat, clear brush, and maintain the acreage to a high standard.
Fence Maintenance: Routine inspection and repair of farm fencing to ensure the safety and security of the animals and property.
General Property Upkeep: Performing routine farm maintenance, including greasing and basic upkeep of tractors/equipment, occasional painting projects, and keeping barns or workshops organized.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Previous experience working on a farm, ranch, or large rural property is highly preferred.
Skills: Comfortable operating outdoor power equipment (zero-turn mowers, weed eaters, tractors) and utilizing basic hand tools.
Animal Savvy: Must be comfortable and experienced handling and being around animals.
Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift heavy loads (such as feed bags), and perform physical labor throughout the day.
Attributes: Dependable, punctual, honest, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must have reliable transportation.
