Furniture manufacturer and retailer is seeking an experienced Figma / Elementor Web Designer to manage, improve, and grow our online presence.
This is a full-time, on-site position at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Remote or hybrid work is not available. U.S. work authorization is required.
We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working independently. The ideal candidate combines strong visual design skills with hands-on experience building and maintaining attractive, high-performing websites using Figma, WordPress, and Elementor.
Responsibilities
Design website pages, product layouts, landing pages, and promotional graphics in Figma.
Build, update, and maintain responsive website pages using WordPress and Elementor.
Create and manage product listings, collections, categories, tags, menus, and site navigation.
Write, edit, and optimize product titles and descriptions.
Upload, crop, edit, resize, and organize product photography.
Maintain pricing, inventory information, product options, and variations.
Update website banners, promotions, showroom information, and other content.
Apply SEO best practices to product pages, landing pages, and other website content.
Improve page speed, usability, mobile responsiveness, and overall website performance.
Install, configure, and manage WordPress and Elementor plugins as needed.
Monitor the website for broken links, errors, outdated content, and customer-experience issues.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve the website, generate leads, and increase sales.
Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Figma, WordPress, and Elementor.
Portfolio demonstrating attractive, professional, responsive website design.
Experience managing e-commerce or product-focused websites.
Understanding of SEO best practices.
Strong attention to typography, spacing, layout, image presentation, and visual detail.
Experience with Photoshop, Canva, or similar image-editing software is a plus.
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage projects independently.
Strong written communication and organizational skills.
Position Details
Employment: Full-Time
Location: Brooklyn Navy Yard – On-Site Only
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:15 PM
Starting Compensation: $20/hour
After 30 Days of Successful Employment: $25/hour
Additional Compensation: Opportunity to earn sales commissions
