A ministry in Brooklyn is seeking individuals to help with a fundraising program that pays for temporary housing for those who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
We will also be assisting with giving food packages and helping individuals to find employment.
We meet online on Saturdays at 10 am for prayer and Bible study for about 2 hours. We meet on Wednesday for prayer at 8 pm - 9 pm. We would love to have you at both or atleast one of the meetings each week.
We are looking for a small base of around 10 people to get started. We aim to raise $20,000 - $30,000 per month towards this effort based on peer giving, that is each person reaching out to a few people in their contacts to help. All members who form the base will be able to participate in general meetings and vote on cases that will be submitted to receive the needed help.
