Pay Rate: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No weekends)

Position Overview
We are seeking a hardworking, reliable Warehouse Associate / General Helper to join our warehouse team in Brooklyn. In this role, you will be responsible for daily warehouse support, including moving seafood products into and out of walk-in coolers/freezers, packing customer orders, loading trucks, and maintaining clean operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Cold Storage Management: Move incoming and outgoing seafood shipments in and out of industrial walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Order Packing: Accurately select, weigh, and pack seafood products according to customer invoices and daily order sheets.
• Receiving: Unload supplier shipments from the loading dock and organize inventory efficiently in cold storage.
• Truck Prep: Stage and load outgoing packed orders onto company delivery vehicles accurately and securely.
• General Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Team Support: Assist management with inventory counts, stock rotation, and other general tasks as requested.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Language Skills: English or Chinese required; Mandarin or Cantonese fluency strongly preferred.
• Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and able to carry out tasks independently or as part of a team.
• Experience: Prior warehouse experience and forklift experience required.
• Background Check: Must pass a pre-employment background screening.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, load, and unload boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work comfortably for extended periods inside cold, industrial walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive manual labor throughout an 8- to 10-hour shift.
