Selling my vintage Decware SE84CS Zen Triode tube amplifier, manufactured circa 2004 according to its serial number.
The amplifier is in excellent working condition and sounds fantastic. I've been using it regularly since 2023, paired with my Klipsch Forte IV speakers, with beautiful results.
The previous owner in Japan stated that the amplifier had undergone inspection and maintenance before I purchased it. I don't have documentation of the work performed, but the amplifier has continued to operate beautifully throughout my ownership.
Features a wood base, dual RCA inputs, and Decware's signature single-ended triode design.
Includes an extensive collection of spare vacuum tubes acquired from the previous owner:
- 15 EL84 tubes
- 5 6N1P tubes
- 3 5U4 rectifier tubes
The collection includes four matched Siemens EL84 tubes, along with other brands. The previous owner stated that the spare tubes had been tested with the amplifier.
The Decware Zen Triode has received widespread acclaim, including being named Steve Guttenberg's Audiophiliac Component of the Year in 2020. His review covers a newer version of this classic amplifier design.

Unlike ordering a new Decware amplifier, which involves a waiting list, this vintage SE84CS is available immediately and includes an extensive collection of spare tubes.
**Asking $1,500 OBO.**
Located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
