Hi, we are Formosa, a Taiwanese dumpling restaurant located in Brooklyn.
We are a small family owned business that strives to bring authentic tastes of Taiwan to the Brooklyn neighborhoods.
we are looking for one or two FOH staff to join our team and grow with us.
If you enjoy working with people, stay calm under pressure, and take pride in providing great service, we'd love to hear from you.
Looking for staffing for our Prospect Height location, but prefer someone who can work in Bushwick as well from time to time.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide friendly, welcoming service
- Take customer orders accurately at the counter
- Run food and drinks to tables
- Handle takeout and third-party delivery orders
- Bus and clean tables promptly
- Keep the dining area clean, organized, and stocked throughout service
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily front-of-house duties
- Work closely with the kitchen to ensure a smooth guest experience
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, or customer service preferred
- Friendly, positive attitude with excellent communication skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
- Hardworking and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team player who communicates well and supports coworkers
- Open to feedback and committed to learning and improving
- Ability to stay organized and maintain attention to detail
- Is proactive and self-motivated to find things to work on and help during slow hours
- Available to work all day shifts is a plus. Evening availability is a must.

- Base rate + tip, the average hourly rate is between $20-23, depending on how busy we get.
