Hello! I am looking for someone to take over my lease in a beautiful, sunny and spacious apartment with separate kitchen in a prime location right next to Grand Army Plaza, directly on Eastern Parkway, across the street from Prospect Park, Brooklyn Public Library and the weekly Farmer's Market and upstairs from a cute cafe!
The apartment itself is spacious with plenty of windows and beautiful hardwood floors. Its very sunny in the mornings, and the south-facing window has a view of Mount Prospect Park. The space easily fits a queen bed with room for a sofa/living area and a desk area. There are two large windows in the living room, one south facing with a beautiful view of trees in the park, and another large window in the kitchen. There is a separate eat-in kitchen with enough room for a sit-down table. There is a hallway with three very large closets with shelves. Laundry on the first floor of the building. AC already installed. The building is safe and quiet with two entrances and is right next to a cafe. It is an elevator building and pet-friendly. It is quiet, since it is on the 5th floor and far from the street. Neighbors on the floor are quiet and nice as well!
The apartment is in probably the best location you could get directly on Eastern Parkway. It is right across the street from the Brooklyn Museum, Prospect Park and Mount Prospect Park — you can see the library and park and farmer's market from the window. It is one block down from the Brooklyn Museum and around the corner from Radio Bakery. There are three streets nearby with a ton of shops and cafes There is a wonderful farmer’s market on Saturdays right outside and lots of shops and restaurants. It is as central as you could get in Prospect Heights/Brooklyn.
Heat, gas and hot water included. You only pay for electricity and internet.
The unit is available now! The rent is $2895 a month and the lease will go until 5/31/27. Alternatively, you can sign for a new year-long lease. Other units with the same unit in the building are renting for $3150, so the lease takeover is a deal! It also has an extra south-facing window other units in the building don't have. Heat, gas and hot water included — you only pay for electricity and internet. I am moving because I got into a lottery housing complex closer to my job.
I am available to give a tour of the apartment anytime. It is completely vacant now and cleaned and ready for a new move-in.
