I’m offering a 6-week small-group singing class beginning Tuesday, October 20, from 6:00–7:30 PM, and there are currently 2 spots available.
The class is open to singers of all levels, including complete beginners. If you’ve always wanted to sing but have never taken lessons, or you’re simply curious to explore your voice in a supportive environment, you are very welcome. More experienced singers who would like to discover a different approach to vocal development are equally welcome.
The class is based on the Lichtenberger® Method, a unique approach to voice that explores resonance, listening, sensory awareness, and the conditions that allow the voice to become freer and more effortless.
Rather than trying to “make” the voice perform through muscular effort, we develop a greater sensitivity to sound and sensation and explore how the voice can organize itself with increasing freedom, richness, and ease.
Because the group is small, each participant will have opportunities to work individually while also learning through listening to and observing the other singers.
This class is open to:
- Complete beginners who would like to discover and explore their singing voice
- Singers looking for greater freedom, resonance, and ease
- Experienced singers curious about a different approach to vocal development
- Actors and speakers interested in developing greater vocal awareness
No previous singing experience or experience with the Lichtenberger® Method is required.

I recently returned from 12 days of intensive study with Gisela Rohmert, founder of the Lichtenberger® Method, at the Lichtenberger Institute in Germany, and I’m very excited to bring this renewed inspiration into our work together.
If you’re interested, please reply with a little about yourself and what you’d like to explore with your voice.
