We are seeking an experienced service captain/event coordinator for a bar and restaurant in Park Slope with a heavy focus on events.
We are looking for the following
*At least two-years of relevant experience in a full-service high-volume restaurant or event space (NYC experience preferred)
*Strong intrapersonal skills needed.
*Detail oriented. Must understand that little details make an event great.
*Quick thinking and solution oriented.
*Weekend availability is a must.
*Friendly and personable.
*Willing to learn the menu
*Basic food, beverage and allergy knowledge required
*Must be comfortable with basic math
*Must have a NYC food handler card. Safeserve is not sufficient.
*Bartending skills are a huge plus
