The Opportunity:
We’re seeking a seasoned Expert Drafter to join our tight-knit team and play a vital role in bringing our bold architectural visions into reality. High end metal/glass/millwork experience is a definite plus
Must-Have Technical Proficiencies:
CAD / 3D Modeling / Rendering Expertise
Proficiency in at least one of the following: Rhino3D, Solidworks, AutoCAD / Fusion, ETC., OnShape, (Tekla)
Creating clean and layered 3D models that serve as the project keystone.
Parametrics and blocking when necessary.
Reaching out/researching for CAD files of specified hardwares types
VIF measurements a must, laser, tape measure proficiency
Rendering using specified materialities and consistent viewport management
Title block management
Comprehensive shop drawing .pdfs for fabrication submittal and approval
Revising accordingly while keeping the 3D model updated.
Creating CNC files and associated comprehensive overviews.
Creating comprehensive full scale drawings for fabrication and installation.
Communication and support of the shop floor for specific dimensioning and layout preference.
Connection and section detailing using specified engineering & hardware.
Client facing communication with GC/Architects/Clients for final installation placements and site conditions.
Project takeoffs for estimating purposes
Coordination with other subs for installation project management
Proper Dropbox organization and file management.

Architecture and architectural design detailing

Structural engineering workflows and coordination
Designing, modeling, drawing, and fabricating complex staircases
3D printing layout and fabrication detail generation
Project management, oversight, and collaborative teamwork
Field visits, on-site measurements, laser-based precision verification
