We are a fresh kids meal company dedicated to growing smart eaters! Our meals are delivered to children throughout NYC daily and made from the best local and organic ingredients. Our meticulous attention to quality and detail has helped us grow quickly and we are looking for talented, quality-minded people to join our team and grow with us!
We are seeking reliable, friendly serving assistant and dishwasher to serve lunch to kids at a school in Carroll Gardens, Monday-Friday approximately 9 am - 2 pm. This position is temporary for approximately 2 weeks with the possibility to extend.
Responsibilities include:
- Receive daily deliveries of food and provisions. Return previous days’ bags.
- Check deliveries for correct items and correct temperatures.
- Heat and serve food according to instructions.
- Organize accessories such as eating utensils, napkins, and condiments.
- Ensure the special allergy meals are delivered to the right children.
- Maintain cleanliness and safe food handling
Candidate must possess the following:
- Friendly and like interacting with children. Must pass a background check.
- Food Handlers Certificate and proper food handling and food safety knowledge is a plus
- Previous serving experience preferred but not required
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Flexible and willing to help with any necessary tasks
- Able to lift 40lbs and be on their feet their entire shift.
Hours are approximately Monday-Friday 10 am to 2 pm, until June 2026. School holidays and closures off and unpaid.
