ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for individuals who can engage in authentic, natural, and emotionally rich five-minute video conversations with other participants. This should feel like meeting someone new and getting to know them better.

Examples of how the conversation may flow:

• "What's something you've been excited about lately?"
• "Tell me about a place you'd love to visit."
• "What are some hobbies you've picked up recently?"

This is a fully remote, freelance position with complete flexibility in when and how much you work. We are looking for participants based in the United States or Canada.

COMPENSATION

• $50 per recorded hour
• Additional performance-based incentives may be available

ABOUT YOU

• You must be at least 18 years old
• Fluent in English, with clear speech and strong conversational skills
• Comfortable speaking confidently on camera and engaging with new people
• Able to maintain good lighting, stable framing, and clear audio throughout recordings
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow project guidelines carefully

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in recorded five-minute video conversations with another participant
• Engage naturally by listening, reacting, and responding with genuine interest
• Maintain clear video and audio quality throughout each session

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Camera capable of recording at 720p or higher, minimum 30 FPS
• Laptop or desktop computer (tablets and phones not supported)
• External or USB microphone preferred for clear, natural audio
• Good lighting and a distraction-free background
• Stable internet connection capable of supporting smooth video calls

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Rates are determined by the number of recorded hours and apply specifically to this project within the United States. If your application is accepted for a different Babel Audio project, the compensation rate may vary.
