We’re a high-end custom millwork and furniture company in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, looking for a Production Operations Assistant to join our team.
This is a junior / entry-level, hands-on role for someone who is organized, proactive, eager to learn, and has good common sense. You don’t need years of industry experience — attitude, communication, reliability, and follow-through matter more to us than the perfect résumé.
Communication is KEY. We need someone who responds promptly, follows up, keeps clients and the team informed, and makes sure questions get answered and nothing falls through the cracks.
HAVING CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE OR UNDERSTANDING IS A MUST
What You’ll Do
Support the Production Manager with daily production and project coordination.
Track projects through fabrication, finishing, quality control, and delivery.
Monitor and respond to client emails in a friendly and professional manner.

Keep clients proactively informed about production, samples, approvals, timelines, and deliveries.
Coordinate and follow up with production, project managers, vendors, finishing shops, and suppliers.
Help track materials, hardware, finishes, fabrics, samples, and approvals.
Keep project trackers and production information organized and up to date.
Assist with quality control, packing, deliveries, and day-to-day production needs.

Eager to learn about furniture, millwork, materials, and fabrication.
Comfortable working both at a computer and around a busy production floor.
