Our compnay is a full-service fabrication, visual production, and experiential studio. We design, print, fabricate, and install everything in-house — from large-scale wall graphics and vehicle wraps to custom props, CNC-cut builds, and complex branded environments.
We work with leading agencies, movie studios, and brands, and we’re growing quickly. We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Production Artist to join our team full-time at our Ridgewood, Queens facility.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Production Artist / Prepress Specialist with strong experience handling client-supplied artwork and preparing files for large-scale production. This role is critical to ensuring that all files are properly proofed, preflighted, and production-ready for our in-house printing, CNC, and fabrication workflows.
You will work closely with our production and fabrication teams to translate client designs into accurate, efficient files for vinyl printing, large-format visuals, and custom builds.
Key Responsibilities
• Preflight, proof, and prepare client-supplied artwork for production
• Adjust and optimize files for large-format printing, vinyl output, and fabricated applications
• Divide and panel large-scale graphics for wall wraps, murals, and oversized visuals
• Set up print-ready files with correct scale, bleed, color modes, and resolution
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure files align with printer and CNC requirements
• Prepare files for CNC cutting and basic fabrication workflows (wood, panels, props)
• Review files for accuracy, consistency, and production feasibility before release
• Maintain organized file structures and production documentation
• Troubleshoot artwork issues and proactively flag potential production challenges
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (required)
• Proven experience working with large-format print production
• Understanding of vinyl printing, paneling, scaling, and resolution requirements
• Ability to work with client-provided designs and adapt them for real-world fabrication
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Professional communication skills and ability to work with internal teams
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience with CNC production and cut files
• Ability to view or set up files in SketchUp, SolidWorks, or Rhino
• Familiarity with fabrication workflows and custom prop builds
• Knowledge of printers, materials, and production limitations
