Male, 40, singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist seeks skilled collaborators on:
live synth / sequencer / drum machine
bass
acoustic/electronic drums
for new project drawing inspiration from (but not limited to): New Order, Chic, Róisín Murphy, Bowie, Sylvester & Patrick Cowley, Leroy Burgess, Patrick Adams, Madonna, John Rocca & Freeez, Donna Summer, Evelyn "Champagne" King, Kraftwerk, Johnny Jewel/Italians Do It Better, Velvet Underground, Depeche Mode, plus a host of one-off projects on Prelude, West End, and Salsoul Records, random Italo disco, and classic early House (yes these styles/genres can mesh)
A newer group I admire: Say She She
I have a bunch of songs drafted on guitar and extensive back catalogue of material for an aborted synth pop-house music album (didn't have the funds for a proper studio, went back to school to get my master's). Although I have a family life and family responsibilities, I would like to craft a few EPs or an album and play live once a month on average, with shows potentially outside NYC.
You can hear my old post-punk band here: bedfellows.bandcamp.com
