We’re looking for a dependable, personable individual with a genuine interest in and knowledge of cars to join a small Brooklyn-based automotive-focused business.
This is a customer-facing position involving automotive culture, technology, entertainment, and light sales. You should already be a car enthusiast and comfortable talking about cars with other enthusiasts. You don’t need to be a professional mechanic or have dealership experience, but you should know more than the average person about cars.
You should be familiar with topics such as performance cars, different makes and models, basic automotive terminology, modifications, motorsports, and general car culture. An interest in racing and driving video games is strongly preferred.
The position involves interacting with customers, explaining products and experiences, answering questions, assisting with purchases and bookings, operating computer-based equipment, keeping the space organized, and providing a great overall customer experience.
