I'm looking to hear about people's experiences living on minimum wage (or close to it, including gig work) in one of the most expensive cities in the world.
This is for a long-term documentary photography project. I'd like to really get to know participants, photographing different aspects of their everyday lives, both inside and outside of work.
As someone who's lived below the living wage for most of my life, I care deeply about workers' rights and the experiences of "entry-level" workers. I'm open to all vocations: cleaners, factory workers, artists, fast food workers, Uber drivers, delivery workers, dishwashers, etc.
Using my technical and artistic skills to help share stories that are often overlooked feels meaningful and timely.
Please get in touch if you're interested. I'd love to hear from you. I'm happy to transit anywhere within NYC.
