This refurbished and beautifully crafted upright delivers the powerful, resonant tone Mason & Hamlin is known for, with impressive clarity and depth that captures much of the character of a grand piano. Finished in classic black, its elegant cabinet has a timeless presence that works beautifully in both traditional and contemporary spaces. Built for lasting performance, the Model 50 delivers the power, clarity, and expressive tone that define the Mason & Hamlin pianos. Its compact design brings many of the tonal qualities of a grand piano to a more manageable footprint, making it an excellent choice for players who want a substantial, responsive instrument without the space requirements of a fuller scale piano. A true Mason & Hamlin classic for the home, studio, school, or professional setting. For players looking for the rich, distinctive sound of a Mason & Hamlin instrument, the Model 50 is an exceptional choice.
This piano includes a custom upgrade: a hand-operated mute-felt practice rail. A feature typically found on select Kawai and Yamaha uprights, we’ve adapted the system specifically for this Mason & Hamlin upright. When switched on, the rail reduces the piano’s volume to roughly 70% of its normal level while introducing a softer, more intimate timbre. It offers both a quieter way to practice and an entirely different tonal palette for playing, composing, and exploring music.

Our pianos are priced to reflect the professional repair and restoration work completed by our highly trained technicians, saving you the time, expense, and uncertainty of arranging repairs after purchase. Each piano is carefully serviced and brought to its best playing condition before sale, so you can buy with confidence and focus on enjoying your instrument.
