Short-Term Exhibition Space Wanted – Gowanus Open Studio
Three local professional artists are looking for a short-term rental in or around Gowanus to exhibit our work during Gowanus Open Studio, October 17–18. We’re looking for a space we can use from Thursday, October 16 through Monday, October 19 for installation, the exhibition, and deinstallation. An office, storefront, studio, or other creative space could work—even a lobby or common area. We’d host a small public reception Friday or Saturday evening.
We recognize that it can be difficult to commit to a short-term rental this far in advance, but we’re hoping to finalize something as soon as possible so we can meet the deadline to be included on the GOS printed map. If your space is currently vacant or hasn’t been rented by the end of September, this could be an easy way to generate some income before your next tenant moves in. We’re experienced, professional artists and will treat the space with care, return it in the condition we found it, and are happy to provide a security deposit and references.
