Podcast & Video Production
Rohan K. Duggal Consulting | New York City
Help launch a podcast from scratch—and create content people want to watch.
I’m looking for a creative, organized intern to help me launch a podcast, produce long-form YouTube videos, and create short videos for social media.
My content focuses on entrepreneurship, marketing, and the business behind wine and spirits. We’ll explore how brands grow, how businesses make money, and what owners learn along the way.
You’ll work directly with me, contribute your ideas, and help turn conversations into content—from planning through publishing.
What you’ll do
- Help develop the podcast’s format, episode structure, and launch plan.
- Research topics and guests, prepare interview questions, and coordinate recordings.
- Help set up cameras, microphones, lighting, and recording software.
- Edit podcast episodes and long-form YouTube videos for sound, pacing, and storytelling.
- Turn strong moments from each episode into Instagram Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts.
- Create captions, thumbnails, titles, and descriptions.
- Upload and schedule approved content.
- Keep the content calendar and production files organized.
- Review performance with me and suggest improvements.
Who I’m looking for
Someone interested in video production, podcasting, digital media, journalism, communications, or marketing. Current students, recent graduates, and other early-career applicants are welcome.
You should have:
- Hands-on experience filming or editing videos. Personal projects, class assignments, and freelance work count.
- Familiarity with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or a similar editing tool.
- A sense of what makes someone stop scrolling and keep watching.
- Strong organization, communication, and follow-through.
- Comfort sharing ideas, taking feedback, and working independently between check-ins.
Experience with podcast production, audio editing, thumbnail design, or YouTube publishing is a plus. You don’t need a large following or your own professional equipment.
What you’ll gain
- Experience launching a podcast from the first idea to published episodes.
- Published videos and clips for your portfolio.
- Direct feedback and mentorship in storytelling, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
- Experience managing the full production process.
- An opportunity to help shape the show’s creative direction.
How to apply
Send your application:
- Your résumé.
- Links to two or three relevant videos, audio projects, or other work samples.
- A short note explaining your role in those projects and one idea you would bring to a new podcast.
You don’t need a perfect résumé. Show me what you’ve created, how you think, and why you want to help build this.
