How it works:
One-on-one lessons over voice/video in the Auwen Discord. Pick a plan, pick a recurring weekly time slot, and show up.
Single Lesson, $100. Try one lesson, no ongoing commitment.
Weekly Plan, $70/lesson. 4 lessons a month at a fixed weekly time, with Auwen Pro included while you're enrolled.
Founding Cohort, $55/lesson. A locked-in rate for the first 5 students, for as long as you stay enrolled. Once those 5 spots are gone, so is this tier.
FAQ:
Do I need experience? No. There's no music theory prerequisite, and the command line is approachable even if you've never touched a terminal. Lessons meet you where you are.
How difficult is it? The learning curve is roughly 1 lesson to start making beats, 3 lessons to make a full song, and 5-6 lessons to be performance ready
Are other people using this? Yes we have creators in SF, London, New York, LA, Brazil, Italy and more
What happens after I book? You'll get a confirmation with your day and time. Download the Discord desktop app, grab headphones and a working mic, and say hi in the lessons channel before your lesson.
Can I cancel or reschedule? Yes, anytime, right from your booking page.

Meet your instructor:
Nes Croft is a musician, artist, and computer engineer from Montana who has written and recorded thousands of songs, starting with folk/rock as a teenager and expanding into experimental pop, IDM, techno, and trance. Nes got into electronics at 19 working at DIY synth company Synthrotek in Portland, OR, then earned a bachelor's in computer engineering at Montana State University. In college, Nes co-founded and developed Vaytricks Beat Machine, a mobile drum machine app with over 100,000 downloads. Five years later Nes left Vaytricks to focus on live performance, and Auwen was born; a DAW with a hybrid producer/DJ workflow that lets musicians perform dance music live from a command line. Nes has since tested Auwen at electronic music festivals and hosts livecoding workshops and live music events at art galleries and venues.
