About the Role - Work Location:  Saint Vitus Bar  (428 Troutman Street, Bklyn NY 11237)

Two Brooklyn staples are teaming up for a high-energy collaboration. St. Anselm is bringing its acclaimed culinary ethos to Saint Vitus Bar, the legendary live music venue, to launch an exciting new fast-casual food concept directly inside the space.

We are seeking a driven, high-performing Kitchen Manager to lead line operations, maintain culinary quality, and drive daily efficiency in a fast-paced concert and nightlife environment. If you thrive in a music-centric, fast-casual setting and know how to balance speed, execution, and team leadership, this is your stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Kitchen Operations: Oversee daily BOH operations, ensuring high speed of service, consistency, and strict adherence to food safety standards.
• Team Leadership: Train, schedule, and supervise kitchen staff; foster a productive, positive work environment during high-volume music show shifts.
• Inventory & Cost Control: Manage ordering, stock rotation, inventory control, and portion management to hit food and labor cost targets.
• Quality Control: Ensure all dishes meet the high standards established by St. Anselm's culinary team.
• Maintenance & Sanitation: Oversee kitchen cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and strict DOH compliance.  

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of kitchen management or senior supervisory experience in a fast-casual, high-volume bar, or live music venue setting.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and crisis-management abilities during busy show rushes.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of inventory systems, scheduling, food safety regulations, and NYC DOH codes (NYC Food Protection Certificate preferred).
• Work Style: Adaptable, hands-on manager who is comfortable working nights, weekends, and alongside live events.
