NYLA Café in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn is looking for a reliable kitchen helper / line cook to cover several shifts this week.
Schedule:
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM — full kitchen shift, covering for our chef
Thursday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Friday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Food preparation and basic cooking
Following recipes and kitchen procedures
Keeping the kitchen clean and organized
Helping with prep, service and dishes as needed
Working efficiently during busy periods
Requirements:
Previous restaurant/kitchen experience preferred
Reliable and punctual
Able to work independently
Clean and organized
Experience with a fast-paced café/restaurant is a plus
