Rare Image Mechanics fluid-mount tray for the Nikon Super Coolscan 8000 ED and 9000 ED, built on a genuine Nikon scanner tray so it fits and operates exactly like the originals. It lets you wet-mount film from 8mm up to 6x9 for the sharpest, flattest scans these scanners can produce. In my own tests the results beat Imacon and Tango drum scans of the same negatives. Long discontinued and very rarely offered for sale. Originally about $500.

Condition: lightly used. The glass is in excellent shape. There is a small bubble between the mask paint and the glass in one corner, probably where a little scanning fluid got in; it is outside the scanning area and doesn't affect scans (see photos).

Pickup in Ridgewood, Queens (near the Forest Ave M stop). Cash only. No trades. No shipping. You're welcome to test it when we meet.
