In recent years, Ibanez has been embracing multi-scale (fanned fret) bass guitar designs with the EHB series (Ergonomic Headless Bass) in addition to BTB and SR series. It may look a little strange but as a 25-year Dingwall player I can tell you it's not a gimmick. This particular bass has all the benefits of a 35" scale 5-string with none of the compromises.
This thing is absolutely stunning with exotic woods and the distinctive, discontinued coloring. I love it tbh but I need to thin the heard. And the Dingwall is going nowhere.

One thing that's tricky about the EHB series is they're too small to fit well in most bass gig bags, and too big for most guitar gig bags. The original bag is long gone but I'm including an inexpensive Fender baritone guitar bag along with an inexpensive Levi's strap.
If you read the complete post, write something rude about Fender in the email. Thanks.
