We are a school in the Flatbush area of Brooklyn looking for a reliable and experienced full-time Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
- General building maintenance and repairs
- Plumbing repairs
- Basic electrical work
- Carpentry
- Furniture and fixture repairs
- Cleaning and upkeep
- Troubleshooting and handling day-to-day maintenance issues throughout the school
Requirements:
- Must be skilled and experienced in a wide variety of handyman and maintenance repairs
- Must have your own tools
- Must have your own reliable transportation
- Must be dependable, responsible, and able to work independently
- Spanish speaking is a HUGE plus
This is a full-time position for someone who is hands-on and capable of taking responsibility for the ongoing maintenance needs of a busy school.
