Experienced Housekeeper Needed | Fort Greene/Clinton Hill, Brooklyn | $38/Hour
We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented housekeeper to help maintain and organize a large family home with children in the Fort Greene/Clinton Hill area of Brooklyn.
Responsibilities include:
General house cleaning and tidying
Laundry, folding, and putting clothes away
Home organization
Occasional errands and household tasks
Deep cleaning as needed
Optional: Preparing 1–2 simple family meals per week (a plus, but not required)
Ideal candidate:
Experienced in cleaning and maintaining larger homes
Punctual, dependable, and trustworthy
Organized, efficient, and attentive to detail
Comfortable following written instructions and working independently with minimal supervision
Respectful of privacy and discretion
Able to provide references
We often work from home and value a quiet, respectful environment. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently with limited day-to-day interaction. Clear communication, reliability, and respect for our family's privacy are especially important to us.
Schedule:
Our preferred schedule is Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, but we are also open to three shorter days on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Location: Fort Greene/Clinton Hill, Brooklyn
Compensation: $38/hour to start
Start date: Within 2–4 weeks (approximately early to mid-November). Some flexibility available.
We are hoping to find someone interested in a consistent, long-term position.
