THE URBAN WASH — EVENING DRIVER POSITION (PART-TIME)
Brooklyn Laundry Pickup & Delivery Service
The Urban Wash is looking for a reliable and professional evening driver to join our pickup and delivery team.
Schedule:
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
• 4:30 PM to approximately 9:00 PM
• Opportunity for more hours in the future, including Wednesdays and weekends
Pay:
• $17/hour during paid training
• $20/hour after training period
IMPORTANT:
We strongly prefer applicants who live nearby Brooklyn to ensure punctuality, consistency, and reliability.
This is not a casual driving job. We follow specific systems, procedures, and customer service standards. Drivers are expected to be punctual, professional, organized, and careful at all times.
Driving behavior and route performance will be monitored.
Requirements:
• Valid NY driver license
• Authorized to work in the US
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable using smartphones, apps, GPS, and navigation
• Good sense of orientation
• Able to follow instructions and company procedures carefully
• Team player with positive attitude
• Friendly and professional with customers
• Clean personal presentation
• English required — Spanish is a plus
• Willing to undergo background check
• Availability for future additional shifts preferred
About the position:
• Pickup and delivery of laundry orders
• Company van provided
• Fast-paced but organized environment
• Experience preferred but not required
• Must be willing to learn quickly and follow systems
