Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Custom Client Services Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Client Services is the operational engine behind Remains’ sales team. Working from the Brooklyn factory, the Custom Client Services Coordinator supports Account Managers by owning the detailed coordination required to develop and execute custom lighting and metalwork projects—from quotations, documentation, and approvals through production follow-through, client communication, and delivery and installation logistics
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary operational contact once custom orders are placed, driving projects through engineering, fabrication, and delivery.
- Ensure all technical details—dimensions, materials, finishes, lamping, and certification requirements—are accurately translated into production.
- Track drawings, finish samples, client approvals, and scope revisions.
- Proactively monitor project milestones, escalate potential issues early, and coordinate shipping and project close-out.
- Communicate directly with clients to clarify technical requirements, provide timeline updates, and manage project dependencies.
- Work hands-on within the factory to build relationships with engineering, estimating, and fabrication teams to ensure technical feasibility.
- Assist Account Managers by reviewing client drawings, preparing custom quotes, and gathering preliminary technical and lead-time data.
- Maintain clean CRM data, track pipeline metrics, identify workflow bottlenecks, and help optimize custom sales processes.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 3–5 years in client services, project coordination, sales operations, or custom fabrication (architectural products, interior design, or lighting experience is a plus).
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and custom project documentation.
-Communication: Polished written/verbal skills with the ability to ask precise questions and translate complex details clearly.
-Systems Proficiency: Experience with CRM and ERP software; quick to learn new platforms.
-Mindset: Proactive, calm under pressure, and deeply interested in craftsmanship, design, and manufacturing processes.
