Rock Star Renovation is hiring a dependable, professional Construction Driver / Laborer to support our active construction projects.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, safety-conscious, and willing to jump in wherever needed. This position involves transporting materials and equipment between suppliers, storage locations, and active job sites, as well as assisting our crews with general labor when needed.
Responsibilities:
*Pick up and deliver construction materials, tools, and supplies
*Transport materials from suppliers or storage locations to assigned job sites
*Perform job-site trash and debris removal
*Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
*Ensure materials are properly stacked, secured, and protected during transport
*Verify materials and quantities before leaving pickup locations
*Maintain awareness of what is loaded on the vehicle and where it needs to be delivered
*Plan efficient delivery routes to keep projects on schedule
*Follow daily delivery and pickup schedules
*Communicate closely with Project Managers and Site Foremen to ensure the correct materials arrive at the correct job site on time
*Assist with organizing materials at job sites
*Help construction crews with general labor duties when needed
*Maintain a clean, organized, and professional company vehicle
Qualifications:
*Valid driver's license and safe driving habits
*Dependable transportation to and from work
*Excellent time-management and organizational skills
*Ability to follow instructions and work independently
*Strong communication skills
*Ability to safely lift and carry at least 50 pounds
*Ability and willingness to work on ladders when required
*Ability to safely load and unload construction materials
*Basic knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and tools
*You should know the difference between common construction tools and materials, including things like a framing nailer versus a finish nailer
*Comfortable working around active construction sites
*Willing to perform physical labor when needed
*Must be reliable, professional, and punctual
