Blockhead have been out of production for some time and are getting increasingly harder to come by, especially in this rare and possibly one of a kind purple tolex. They were built by Ossie Ahsen, who later went on to start the 3 Monkeys amp company with Brad Whitford of Aerosmith. The Firstborn is a killer sounding clone of the 18 watt Marshall “bluesbreaker”. powered by EL84 tubes.
All original, excellent condition with custom cover and on/off pedal for vibrato which sounds amazing. Takes pedals extremely well. it is LOUD. Don’t be fooled by the 18 Watts. I can’t get it past 1 when at home. never gigged and well taken care of.
