We’re hiring baristas for an upcoming neighborhood café and community space in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. In addition to breakfast, lunch, coffee, and matcha, the space will feature a curated selection of pantry staples and everyday essentials, along with kid- and adult-friendly events and programming.
We care just as much about hospitality as we do about coffee. We’re looking for people who are warm, thoughtful, reliable, calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoy getting to know regulars and making people feel welcome.
Responsibilities include:
- Espresso and coffee preparation
- Matcha and other café beverages
- Counter service and POS
- Maintaining drink quality and consistency
- Keeping the bar clean, stocked, and organized
- Opening and closing responsibilities
- Creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive guest experience
- Supporting the team wherever needed during service
- Prior barista or café experience is strongly preferred.
Full-time and part-time positions available. Weekend availability is important.
