Cashier / Runner / Busser — Front of House (West Village)
Employment type: Part time to start with opportunity to go Full-time
We're a small, busy restaurant in NYC looking for front of house help who genuinely enjoys the hospitality business. We have a small staff, which means everyone pitches in and works as a team — there's no room for anyone who isn't willing to jump in wherever needed.
Once you're on the schedule, there's no calling out last minute or coming in late — we need people we can count on. If you're looking for a steady, long-term job with a set schedule and a place that feels like a second home, this is a great fit.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
- NYC Food handlers preferred or willingness to obtain within one month of hiring is a must
- Prior front of house or hospitality experience preferred
- Courteous, upbeat, and professional with guests at all times
- Excellent at managing your time with each guest — greeting people right away, running food and bussing tables quickly, keeping things moving without rushing anyone's experience
- Strong communicator — you'll need to work closely with other team members, kitchen staff, and management to keep service running smoothly
- Clean appearance and excellent personal hygiene
- NO EGOS. Upbeat, pleasant, team-first people only
- Willing to do side work: prep, set-up and breakdown of the dining room, nightly clean and weekly deep clean. Cleanliness matters a lot to us
- Must be able to physically be on your feet for up to 8 hours at a time and lift up to 50#
- Must be available weekends!
If you meet the above, please apply with a resume and brief note about yourself.
