Group Leaders provide direct services to children attending the after-school program. Group Leaders assist the Program Director in implementing program activities, support instructional staff, and facilitate small and large group meetings and clubs.

Responsibilities Include:
• Working with the Program Director, Program Assistant, Academic and Art Specialists to provide direct services to students.
• Supervise snack time.
• Collect daily attendance
• Provide a positive and supportive learning environment for all students
• Assist with activity planning and curriculum development, as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings

Qualifications:
• Can be a school paraprofessional
• Experience working with varied ethnic populations
• 2 years of experience working with children in grades 6, 7, or 8 and enthusiasm for teaching
• Must work well with others
• Must be able to maintain 5 day schedule – 2:30 to 5:30
