My name is Kayla, a Brooklyn-based tutor and babysitter with a Psychology degree from the University of Rochester. I've spent the last few years teaching students and looking after kids, and I'd love to help your family.
Tutoring: $30/hour
I tutor ELA and math for grades K-6. At Rochester I taught weekly discussion sections and wrote the lesson plans for them, so I know how to break something down until it clicks. I go at your child's pace and keep sessions focused without making them feel pressured.
Babysitting:
I spent three summers running a Brooklyn YMCA camp group of 15+ kids, planning their days and keeping things fun and organized. I'm also a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, so I'm calm and prepared if anything comes up. Whether it's one child or a few, I show up on time and keep parents in the loop.
