selling my dearly beloved 2001 honda crv. after some years and thousands of miles with it i can no longer afford to keep my car, and so i am releasing it into the wild.
the good: the car drives beautifully. it's only got ~150K miles on it, and i've done all the internal repairs and upkeep. oil changes, differential oil change, muffler fixed, belts replaced, suspension as well. the speakers aren't blown and it still has the folding table. this thing is a tank, and can go a million miles more with proper upkeep.
the bad: this car has a ton of relatively superficial boo-boos that shouldn't be costly, just annoying. there's a large crack in the windshield, the CD player on the radio doesn't work, the driver's side mirror needs to be replaced, the headlights could stand to be replaced, and the back right tire is currently flat (I have a full size spare to replace it). the driver's side door only opens from the outside, but it only needs a plastic clip replaced. realistically, it should only need $500 to be back up to standard, i just don't have the time and money to do all the repairs anymore.
it's a great car that needs a lot of cosmetic love. the price reflects that it's a beater, but again, only on the outside!
