The FA700 is a hollow body electric guitar model made by Ibanez in1978. The FA700 features a full-sized, full-hollow, single Venetian cutaway body design with a carved solid spruce top (hand carved and signed) with ƒ holes and ivory binding on curly maple sides and arched back mated to a set-in maple neck with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard with ivory binding and pearl block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 70 Humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, black plastic pickup rings, a wooden bridge with wooden saddle, a custom trapeze tailpiece, a bone nut, Sure Grip knobs, VelveTune machine heads, and a tortoise shell pickguard. The scale length is 25½".
This jazz guitar plays amazingly well and is in very good condition with the exception of the body binding which is stable but cracked.
