The widest a phone can be, to fit in the jaws, is a little more than 3 7/8" wide.
You press a button at the back, to make the jaws expand outward.
You squeeze the jaws inward, with your hand, to make the jaws narrower.
You move the bottom jaw down and up with your hand.
The angle (tilt) of the phone can be adjusted, and held, by loosening and tightening the nut at the back.
The arm can be extended, and held, by loosening and tightening the knob, at the elbow-joint.
The arm extends 4 1/2".
The suction cup is 2 1/2" in diameter.
There is a lever, at the back of the suction cup.
You flip the lever up first, then press the suction cup onto the windshield, then flip the lever down to create suction.
The suction cup should be cleaned with glass cleaner and water, then air dried.
If you wipe it with cloth, the cloth will stick to the suction cup.
The brand of this holder is Hypergear.
This holder is clean and undamaged.
