Job Title: Bakery Dough Maker / Laminator (Puff Pastry) – Rondo Sheeter (Bronx)
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – completion (standard shift is 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; must be flexible during the first 2–3 months of training)
Pay: $17.00–$18.50/hour (DOE)

About the role:
Fast-paced specialty food manufacturer in the Bronx is hiring a dependable, detail-focused Dough Maker / Laminator to help produce high-quality puff pastry products. You’ll work on a Rondo sheeter (SS0677) laminating puff pastry dough and supporting production goals while following SOPs, GMP, and food safety requirements. We will train the right candidate—baking/dough experience is preferred.
Key responsibilities:
--Laminate puff pastry dough using a Rondo sheeter (SS0677)
--Work efficiently and accurately in a high-volume production environment
--Follow SOPs and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) at all times
--Wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures; report hazards immediately
--Maintain cleanliness: clean equipment and workstations at end of shift and during product changes
--Work independently after training and collaborate with the team as needed
--Follow uniform and timekeeping rules (be in uniform and ready to work to punch in; punch out before changing)
Required qualifications (please only apply if you meet these):
--Able to work Monday–Friday at 7:00 AM and stay until completion
--Punctual, reliable, and efficient in a fast-paced environment
--Able to take direction, follow procedures, and work with minimal supervision after training
--Strong attention to detail and focus on product quality
--Comfortable with physical demands:
--Standing/walking for extended periods
--Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
--Pushing/pulling racks of dough
--Willing to follow strict production rules including:
--No cell phone in production areas
--Food-environment grooming standards (short nails, no nail polish, no jewelry, no perfume, hair secured)
Preferred qualifications:
--Experience with bread/dough making (preferred)
--Mechanical/handy and able to troubleshoot basic equipment or process issues
--Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
--Long-term employment history (preferred)
--Uniform / PPE provided

You must bring:
non-slip shoes and light work pants (pants may not always be available in your size).
