Helping a friend sell their 2001 PT Cruiser. After taking this from Minnesota to Virginia to here in Tulsa. It ran good and shifts good however they were driving it home a while back and a lower ball joint broke on the drivers side as they were pulling it in. We started to repair it but found it knocked out some of the needle bearings on the driveshaft when it broke and they decided they didn't want to mess with it. It's been mostly put back together but the drive shaft on the driver side needs replaced. The ball joint is on but not fully pressed making switching the driveshaft easier as it just need a bolt removed to drop it now. It does roll and move fine under its own power with no noise even with the joint missing a few needles and pushed back in but would probably want to tow it or uhaul trailer for 50 bucks just to be safe. Had no lights on the dash except now an abs light as the ground wire came off when the ball joint broke. sensor as far as i know is just fine i just didn't get around to putting the ground wire back on the screw. Other than this recent event its been reliable and maintained including undercoated to keep rust away. Threw on the price of 1500. As kbb had it listed at 1700 with "needing repairs" though its an obo. Otherwise its been a reliable decent vehicle. Let me know if you have any questions or offers. Thanks!
