FREE Building Materials Needed — Helping a Friend Rebuild After a House Fire
Hi everyone! I’m posting for a friend who recently had a devastating house fire and lost everything. They’re trying to rebuild, and any help with materials would mean so much.
We’re especially looking for:
• Drywall, including usable leftover sheets
• A bay window in good, usable condition
• Insulation, lumber, and plywood
• Doors, flooring, cabinets, and trim
• Other leftover building supplies that could help with rebuilding
If you’re remodeling, cleaning out your garage, or finishing a construction job and have extra materials you could spare, please consider helping. Even a small amount could make a difference.
We’re in the Brockport/Rochester area. Please reply with what you have, your location, and pictures or measurements if available so we can discuss pickup.
If you know of any organizations or places offering free building materials to fire survivors, those recommendations would also be appreciated.
