Offered for sale is a NEY hay carrier trolley. This is complete and has the cast iron body, 4 track rail carriers, rope locks, and wood pulley. The cast iron housing is marked, “The NEY Mfg. Co. Canton O.” The opposite side of the housing is marked, “Pat’d April 5, 1887” and “Pat APR 5 87”. The wood pulley is in good condition and rolls freely. The 4 track pulleys are stiff, but they are not frozen. The rope lock dogs toggle and catch as they should. The cast body swivels at the center as it should for reversing. The hay carrier measures 14” long x 11-1/2” tall x 7” wide. The NEY barn trolley is complete and is a nice farm collectible.
