MO Trucking Inc. is looking for an experienced and dependable Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse team.
This position involves both physical warehouse work and basic computer/data-entry responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is comfortable operating a forklift, handling freight, and accurately checking shipments in and out of the warehouse.
Responsibilities
Unload tractor trailers, straight trucks, and other delivery vehicles
Load outbound trucks and trailers
Safely operate a forklift throughout the warehouse
Weigh pallets/skids using a forklift-mounted scale
Move, stage, organize, and secure freight within the warehouse
Check in trade show and event freight
Count and verify pieces, pallets, weights, and shipment information
Enter shipment information into Microsoft Excel
Complete and update receiving manifests
Match freight to shipping documents, labels, exhibitors, and customers
Photograph and document freight when required
Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrectly labeled freight
Maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
Previous forklift operating experience required
Experience loading and unloading trucks
Must be comfortable weighing and handling palletized freight
Basic computer skills required
Must be able to use Microsoft Excel
Must be able to accurately complete manifests and receiving paperwork
Strong attention to detail
Dependable and punctual
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced trucking and warehouse environment
Ability to lift and handle freight when necessary
Compensation & Schedule
$29.00 per hour
Guaranteed 40 hours per week
Overtime after 40 hours per week
Regular shift: 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
Full-time position
We are looking for someone who understands that this job is more than simply driving a forklift. The right person must be able to safely handle freight, keep the warehouse organized, and accurately document the freight coming into and leaving the facility.
