We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. In addition to preparing and serving beverages, this role includes cashier and food service responsibilities. Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. In addition to preparing and serving beverages, this role includes cashier and food service responsibilities. Responsibilities:
Bartending:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards
Verify customer age and comply with all alcohol service laws and safety regulations
Maintain a clean, organized bar area and restock supplies as needed
Engage with guests to ensure a positive experience
Cash Handling:
Accurately take customer orders and process payments using the POS system
Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods
Maintain an accurate cash drawer and balance at the end of each shift
Provide receipts and assist with basic transaction issues when needed
Food Service:
Take food orders and communicate clearly with kitchen staff
Prepare or assist with simple food items, plating, or packaging (as applicable)
Deliver food to customers or coordinate takeout/pickup orders
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
General Duties:
Provide friendly, professional customer service at all times
Keep bar, dining, and service areas clean and organized
Assist with opening and closing procedures
Support team members and help in other areas as needed
Qualifications
Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol (per state law)
Previous bartending or restaurant experience preferred
Basic knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine (or willingness to learn)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Food Handler and/or Responsible Beverage Service certification (preferred or required)
