I have a private room available with a private bath.
A little about me, I enjoy having a clean kitchen, being quiet during the week, and getting to know my tenants on a more personal level (over a nice coffee perhaps), but I prefer to leave the door to my room closed and keep to myself if that's okay with you. As long as you pay me on time, clean up after yourself, and treat my home as your own, we should get along just fine
NO DRAMA ALLOWED, NO PARTIES OR ANYTHING OF THAT SORT
Here are the details of my room. Rent is $575 a month with a deposit of one month's rent. You can move in starting December 1st. The lease is flexible, with 3 months to start and then month to month if it's working for both of us. Heat and electric get split evenly and usually run about $90 to $120 each in the winter and less in the summer. Water and WiFi are included. There is a washer and dryer in the basement available for your use at any time, and you will have a parking spot in the driveway. There is a bed frame and a dresser for your use if you'd like them. Sorry, but there are no pets allowed and smoking is not permitted inside the house.
As for getting around, with rough times from the house. The GBT Route 5 will be a 3 minute walk, the Route 7 bus and the Coastal Link are about 6 minutes walking distance. The Fairfield Black Rock Metro North station is about a 12 minute walk from the house and will get you to the train to New Haven or towards New York. The Greater Bridgeport Transportation Center at 710 Water St is about 12 minutes by car. Bridgeport Hospital at 267 Grant St is about 12 minutes by car, and St Vincent's Medical Center at 2800 Main St is about 15 minutes by car. For Groceries, the Food Bazaar at 2145 Fairfield Ave is about 5 minutes by car, and the Stop and Shop at 255 Lindley St is about 12 minutes by car. The Bridgeport Post Office at 120 Middle St is about 12 minutes by car. The streets of Fairfield Ave, Brewster St, and Black Rock Ave are all within walking distance, and the Interstate 95 is about 5 minutes away.
