This opportunity is for ONE person and for ONE room and sharing the kitchen, bathroom and patio.
We are seeking a mature person to welcome into and share our Christian faith-based home where kindness, mutual respect, consideration for others and peaceful living are the foundation of our household.
If you share these values then this may very well be a comfortable fit for us all.
Qualifying Tenant Criteria: NO Smoking indoors, NO DRUGS, NOT an ALCOHOLIC, NO DRAMA, NO Loud Noisemaking
NO PETS (we have three cats so if you are allergic and/or do not like cats, this will not be the right fit.
This opportunity would be most ideal for a professional working person.
A person who is is responsible, clean, and who understands that excessive noise and other disturbances will affect the comfort, physical health, mental and spiritual well being of the other occupants.
Noises such as: Loud TV or Radio, Musical Instruments, Singing, Shouting, Phone Conversations, Snoring and/or sleep-talking, Door slamming or any other such noises are unacceptable and will not be tolerated between the hours of 10PM to 8AM.
We are NOT mean people (to the contrary we are very pleasant and personable). It's just that these walls are very thin and noise can easily travel and be heard by the others. We want YOUR living here to be enjoyable and peaceful too!
We have a large Master Bedroom available on 1 November 2026, in our condo located at Burnt Tavern Manor in Brick, NJ.
Exit 91A off the GSP, off of Burnt Tavern Road and then off Van Zile Road
There is an upstairs condo unit and a downstairs unit. Mine is the downstairs one.
*At times there is some noise coming from the upstairs neighbors so if your noise tolerance is ZERO then this will not be a comfortable fit for you.
We are conveniently located near Restaurants, Shopping Centers, Churches, Banks Post Office, Police, Fire Station, Theatres, Pharmacies, Strip malls and major stores like Costco, Aldi, Home Depot, Walmart etc.
About the Room
The Master Bedroom is: 12' x 18' (216 sq.ft.) and is completely furnished with:
*Queen size bed with storage compartment underneath
*Dresser and Mirror
*A Love Seat
*End Table with Lamp
*Wall Clock
*Large walk-in closet
*Window with venetian Blinds and Curtains
*Indoor room Air-Conditioner and Central Heat
*Lock and Key (your privacy and security is guaranteed)
We all share:
*Bathroom, Kitchen and Patio
(Not the Living Room or Dining area)
*Indoor Washer and Dryer
*There is wall-to-wall carpeting throughout the unit.
*Street Parking
*Community swimming Pool
*Lake (Man-made - fishing is permitted- but they are not edible)
*Club House Space for Social Events
*Mailbox is located by the curb
*Frequent Trash pickup from community dumpsters.
This is a month to month lease.
All details about the lease agreement terms , condo living rules and condo association rules will be provided to those seriously inquiring
Monthly rent is $1350 which includes all utilities (Water, electric, sewer, Wi-Fi) and room furniture.
Rent is strictly due, in full, on the 1st of the month without exception.
If you cannot move in on 1 November but want to secure the room, you must pay the rent in full for November plus the security deposit of $1350 (which will be deposited into an account for safe-keeping at TD Bank right down the road.
You will be given a receipt as proof of deposit.
NOTE: Please apply only if this monthly rent amount is NOT going to be a struggle for you to pay, in full, on time. If it will be a struggle month to month then it would be best not to apply. Please factor in your other monthly financial obligations accordingly.
Note: Two previous tenants did not honestly represent themselves and had to be legally evicted causing stress and financial hardship for the landlord and other occupants. Therefore so as to avoid this happening again, all applicants will be required to answer a comprehensive pre-tenant screening questionnaire. It is NOT because we are harsh, but please understand that we do not ever want to go through that again. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
Such things as Proof of income will be required: Paystubs or social security or pension or disability (or other?).
Reference letters from previous landlord, a Church pastor (if applicable), current employer (if applicable) or personal references are acceptable.
ANYONE may apply regardless of ethnicity, race, gender or creed.
You must be of legal age according to the State of NJ.
You may come see the unit and your room by appointment with no obligation to rent it when current tenant has vacated..
This will enable landlord and prospective tenant to meet in person to acquaint ourselves and to see if this would be a mutually comfortable match.
By applying does not guarantee tenant acceptance. All applicants will be notified of the landlord's decision. You are encouraged to continue your search in the interim.
